
This statement was made by Azarkhash Hafizi, former President of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of ECO member countries and Afghanistan, during his meeting with Safiullah Saber, CEO of Alfalah ul Alami Company.
Mr. Hafizi praised Alfalah ul Alami Company’s initiative to establish a new cement production factory in Jabal al-Siraj District, describing it as a commendable and strategic step. He expressed his full support for this major project, emphasizing that building new factories in Afghanistan creates employment opportunities for the people and stimulates the country’s economic value chain.
He further added that the construction of the new factory in Jabal al-Siraj not only increases domestic production levels but also serves as a public-benefit project and a significant step toward adopting modern technology in Afghanistan.
In response, Safiullah Saber, CEO of Alfalah ul Alami Company, elaborated on the company’s mineral exploration programs, its membership in the International Cement Association, and its investment initiatives in Afghanistan. He described the current situation as a favourable opportunity for investment in the country.
Mr. Saber further noted that Afghan traders and investors should enter the investment sector using modern global methods aligned with Afghanistan’s needs, as technological advancements are rapidly evolving worldwide, and Afghanistan must move forward in step with global progress in business and investment.
He also stated that Alfalah ul Alami Company has completed its mineral exploration works in the mining zones of Jabal al-Siraj District, Parwan Province, and is now actively working on the core implementation plans for establishing the cement factory.
