  1. BACKGROUND:

Alfalah-ul-Alami (AuA) as a profit-based company contracted by Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in partnership with national international companies, is dedicated to establishing a cement factory that produces high-quality cement products in Afghanistan. AUA is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics & Stock Management Inventory Officer to join its team. This position directly reports to the field office manager. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in logistics , Stock/Warehouse Inventory management. The Logistics and Stock Management Inventory  Officer will  coordinate and carryout  logistics and warehouses operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods, materials, and equipment to support our company's operations.

  1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and conduct regular stock reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast and plan logistics requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring availability of resources and materials.
  • Implement and comply with health, safety, and security standards in logistics operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Engineers, Administrative teams, and warehouse staff, to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Develop and implement inventory management processes to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Implement efficient warehouse organization and layout to facilitate inventory management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in the warehouse.
  • Manage stock cards, inventory tracking systems, and related documentation.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse efficiency.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, monitor inventory levels, and generate reports.
  • Oversee the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods in the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, warehouse efficiency, and key performance indicators to management.

  1. SKILLS:
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the mining and construction industry.
  • Familiarity with logistics, stock management, warehousing, and inventory management practices.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in developing and implementing inventory management strategies.
  • Familiarity with inventory control best practices and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve inventory-related issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and security protocols in logistics operations.

 

  1. EDUCATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  1. WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles.
  • Experience in the mining and construction industries is preferred.
  1. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English. Must be able to write reports in English.
  • Proficiency in Dari or Pashtu is required.
