We at AUA are seeking a skilled and experienced national expertise as Senior GIS and Remote sensing to join our team and lead our operations, make different geological maps, and analyze satellite images and Landsat

This position is one of the important positions of Alfalah ul Alami in the exploration department. The person in charge of this position is responsible for arranging various geological maps based on collected data and information, analyzing spatial images and various lancets to establish the location of cement raw materials.

The person in charge of this position is responsible for the main tasks of exploration which consists of the arrangement of geographical maps, topography, and different types of geological maps based on the data collected by the technical teams of the field using GIS. He also prepares an accurate geographical map based on the DEM.

The person in charge also prepares a survey report using the Field Sensor to confirm the availability of cement raw materials based on the available lancets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Arrange the monthly, quarterly, and annual work plans in accordance with the main plan of the company to achieve the goals.
•  Provide monthly, quarterly, annual, and necessary reports on related activities and achievements to inform the exploration management.
• Design and create an effective Geographical Information System (GIS) in coordination with the technical team to arrange various geological maps.
• Accurate Analysis, time figures, and information should be presented on maps to the company exploration management for effective reporting.
• Arrangement of topographic maps to the necessary scales by (DEM) and the data obtained from the GPS point of the area.
• Analysis and integration of information to prepare geographic statistics of the project.
• Study and checking of the information obtained through the Geographical Information System (GIS)
• Preparation of raw materials (download satellite photos from different sites) according to Data type.
• Data preparation (radiometric and atmospheric corrections and rescaling…...) in the ENVI program to collect various geological information.
• Providing basic geological information and a detailed sketch of the planned areas.
• Interpretation of different satellite photos in the Remote Sensor program for preparation and arrangement of geological, Lithological, Morphological, morphological, and other maps
• Comparing field data collected by the AUA professional teams with information collected from satellite images for the accuracy of project activities.
• Converting information and numbers obtained from Raster format to Vector format using GIS and ENVI programs to create Geological, Lithological, Morphological, and other maps.
• Implementation of other tasks suggested by the authority following the principle of the AUA company.
