Safiullah Saber, the Executive Director of Al-Falah Al-Alami Company, along with the company's technical team, conducted an official visit to the coal mining areas of Chanarak in Nahrin District, Baghlan Province. The visit was aimed at evaluating energy resources to support the SAFWAN Cement Factory, which is going to be constructed in Jabal al-Saraj District.
Nahrin District has long drawn attention due to its abundant coal reserves. During the visit, Mr. Saber inspected the coal mines and observed the extraction process, which is primarily conducted by local residents. He underscored the importance of adopting professional mining techniques to enhance safety and reduce risks associated with coal extraction.
The technical team accompanying Mr. Saber collected samples from the coal mines and mining sites to assess the quality of the coal through laboratory testing. This evaluation will play a crucial role in determining the suitability of the coal for industrial purposes.
