Safiullah Saber, the president of Alfalah ul Alamai Company during his visit to China and participation in the International Conference of the World Cement Association and after successive meetings with the founder and president of the World Cement Association acquired the membership of this association.
This membership is, in fact, the first step for an Afghan company to open the way to prestigious international institutions in the field of cement production and obtain membership in this association, which is unprecedented in Afghanistan so far.
Companies that have started the production process can be members of the World Cement Association, and Alfalah ul Alamai Company, with its understanding and necessity of reliable global consultations and more emphasis on standardization of production in industrial factories, gained this privilege and was placed as a member of the World Cement Association.
Alfalah ul Alamai's membership in the World Cement Association is a positive step in transferring the necessary experiences from reputable international companies towards the construction of a new cement production factory in Jabal Al-Sarraj and attracting more investment.
The president of Alfalah ul Alamai in welcoming this membership said, “Obtaining the membership of the World Cement Association is a historic opportunity for Alfalah ul Alamai Company and the people of Afghanistan, and we reaffirm our commitment to standardizing production, using new technology and protecting the environment in the construction process of the new factory in Jabal Al-Sarraj.
He added that the growth of the industry and manufacturing factories based on the exchange of experiences of reputable global companies will provide good investment opportunities and will play a significant role.”
Ammar Guzel, the founder of the World Cement Association, considered the membership of Alfalah ul Alamai Company in this association as a positive step and emphasized on the cooperation of this association with regards to setting up a cement production factory in Afghanistan, adding:"The entry of cement producing companies in global platforms is crucial, and added: We, in the World Cement Association, are ready to cooperate with Alfalah ul Alamai Company in all grounds.”
It is worth mentioning that more than 100 reputable cement production companies worldwide are members of the World Cement Association, which is headquartered in London, and Alfalah ul Alamai Company is the first company from Afghanistan to become a member of this international association.
