Job Summary
The Planning Manager develops and coordinates organizational plans, timelines, and project schedules to align operational activities with strategic objectives. This position supports data-driven decision-making and enhances overall project implementation across all offices.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop operational and strategic plans in coordination with departments.
- Create detailed project timelines and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and update plans accordingly.
- Coordinate planning processes across departments.
- Identify and analyze potential project risks.
- Provide technical assistance to field teams on planning.
- Use planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) for project tracking.
- Evaluate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Align planning with budgeting and procurement cycles.
- Recommend process improvements based on data analysis.
- Prepare periodic planning reports for senior management.
- Conduct planning review sessions and follow-ups.
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven planning.
- Ensure all planning documents are archived and updated.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management or related fields.
- At least 7 years of experience in planning and operations.
- Familiarity with construction or mining industries preferred.
- Proficient in planning and project management software.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong reporting and communication abilities.
