Job Summary
The Field Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our personnel, assets, and operations in the field. This position involves conducting security assessments, implementing procedures, coordinating with local authorities, and providing security training to staff.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct regular security assessments in the field to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
· Develop and implement security procedures to safeguard personnel, assets, and operations.
· Coordinate and establish positive working relationships with local authorities and community leaders.
· Monitor and analyze security incidents, providing timely reports and recommendations to the Security Manager.
· Deliver security briefings and training to staff, ensuring their preparedness and awareness.
· Enforce compliance with security policies and procedures through regular inspections.
· Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, preparing comprehensive reports for the Security Manager.
· Maintain effective access control measures, including visitor management and vehicle control systems.
· Support emergency response procedures and contingency planning under the guidance of the Security Manager.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to security activities for reporting to the Security Manager.

· Implementation of effective security procedures to protect personnel, assets, and operations.
· Identification and mitigation of potential threats and vulnerabilities in the field.
· Timely reporting and recommendations on security incidents and trends to the Security Manager.

Qualifications
1. EDUCATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent. Additional relevant certifications or training in security management is advantageous.
2. WORK EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management, preferably in a field-based or remote setting.
3. SKILLS and ABILIITES:
· Proven track record in conducting security assessments, implementing procedures, and managing incidents.
· Experience in coordinating with local authorities and community leaders.
· Familiarity with security technology and tools, including access control systems and surveillance.
· Knowledge of emergency response procedures and contingency planning.
· Experience in conducting investigations and preparing reports.
· Previous multicultural and diverse environment experience is preferred.
· Strong situational awareness and risk assessment skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
4. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
· Proficiency in Dari or Pashto is required.
ETHICS AND INTEGRITY:
· Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English
· Proficiency in Dari or Pashtu is required.
