Cooperation Agreement Signed Between Al-Falah Ul-Alami Company and Al-Hayat Hospital

A cooperation agreement was signed between Dr. Rahimullah Safi, Deputy for Finance and Administration of Al-Falah Ul-Alami Company, and Dr. Sayed Habibullah Hazim, Director of Al-Hayat Hospital in Kabul.

At the beginning of the meeting, the objectives and plans of Al-Falah Ul-Alami Company regarding the construction of the Safwan Cement Plant in Jabal Saraj District of Parwan Province were presented by the Deputy for Finance and Administration to the Director and officials of Al-Hayat Hospital. The project was warmly welcomed by the hospital’s leadership and relevant officials, who described it as an important step toward achieving Afghanistan’s self-sufficiency in cement production.

During his remarks, the Deputy for Finance and Administration of Al-Falah Ul-Alami Company stated that the health and safety of employees at the Safwan Cement Plant are among the company’s key priorities. He emphasized that the company is continuously working to provide its employees with better and easier access to high-quality healthcare services.

Dr. Sayed Habibullah Hazim, Director of Al-Hayat Hospital, described the signing of the agreement between the hospital and Al-Falah Ul-Alami Company as a positive step toward safeguarding the health and safety of employees and workers at the Safwan Cement Plant. He added that, under the agreement, employees of the company will be entitled to a 20 percent discount on all healthcare services provided by the hospital and will benefit from its medical services.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Falah Ul-Alami Company is constructing the Safwan Cement Plant in Jabal Saraj District of Parwan Province at an estimated cost of USD 225 million. The plant is expected to have a production capacity of 3,000 to 9,000 tons of cement per day.

Construction and installation work at the plant is currently progressing rapidly, creating employment opportunities for hundreds of young Afghans.
